4075 newels with pyramid caps require an additional $30 per newel and can take up to 2 weeks.

Note: All of our 3-inch and 3.5-inch newels are made from laminated wood blanks (usually 2-4 pieces of wood), which is standard practice.
4075 Poplar Plain Box Newel posts are designed to work as a starting, landing or intermediate newel and pairs well with the 4091, 4092 and 4375 box newel posts. Hardwood wall is 3/4" with the main shank is 3-1/2 inches; 58 inches tall. Custom sizes are available on a per job quote. Poplar is the best choice for a paint grade newel with its tight grain and economical cost. It can also be stained dark to match walnut, mahogany and Brazilian cherry hardwoods.
The 4075 Plain Box Newel are made with lock mitered corners, which means they have no end grains, developing elegance.
